This section aims to provide a list of current public consultations that are relevant to the local authority regulatory services that are represented by LACORS, as well as any LACORS responses to such public consultations. We have also provided a list of information that has been requested from local authorities by LACORS to further understand local authority needs, or as part of survey work.

One of our key roles is to support councils by coordinating responses on behalf of the sector to government and other consultations.  In order to ensure that interested councils have an opportunity to express their views and are clear about how to do this, we have provided a short guide on contributing to consultations.
