The deadline for applying for the popular Strategic Leadership Course
is Friday 26 March 2010. Seeing the big picture? LACORS will soon launch the fifth running of the popular ‘Strategic Leadership in Modern Local Government’ to give you the tools to lead.
The course is focused on senior managers and aspiring senior managers from environmental health, trading standards, planning, building control and other regulatory services backgrounds to arm you with the skills to readily contribute to the leadership of modern local government.
The course starts on 23 April 2010 and on completion, participants will be ready to:
- Apply strategic thinking skills and tools to improve quality of decision making
- Lead strategic change by creating vision and appropriate change strategy
- Lead implementation by translating strategy into change projects and programmes
- Increase self knowledge and leadership influence to build trusting relationships
- Build high performing internal and multi agency teams
- Make a positive impact by communicating effectively
The course is being run with 25 per cent funding from LACORS and KBA. Renowned training providers KBA Solutions are running the course with direct support from LACORS.
